Banana Fritters


A great simple recipe for using up ripe bananas.

Mix batter adding more liquid if too thick. Cut bananas in half length-wise and then into 2 inch long pieces. Heat Shortening in pan, dip bananas in batter, and cook in pan. Sprinkle with sugar and serve hot with sour cream.

  • ¾ Cup Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • Ripe Bananas
  • Shortening
  • Sour Cream (optional)
