Macaroni and Cheese

A basic recipe for macaroni and cheese. The secret is in the cheese and the browned top.

Preheat oven to 350

In a large pot of boiling, salted water cook pasta until al dente.

Meanwhile melt butter in a medium saucepan and add flour, stirring until thick. Add milk and then 3/4 of the cheese and heat until melted. Season with ground pepper and Worchestire sauce.

Fold the mixture into the pasta in a large casserole dish. Add the remaining cheese and the breadcrumbs to the top and bake for 30 minutes or until browned on top.
