Pan-Roasted Chicken

Quick, Easy, Delicious

Cut chicken into pieces. Heat lard or oil in pan and brown chicken.

Pour in wine and raise heat to evaporate

When wine has evaporated, add rosemary, sage, garlic, salt & pepper.

Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 20 minutes

  • 2 lb whole chicken
  • 1/4 cup olive oil or lard
  • 1/2 white wine
  • 1 spring rosemary
  • several sage leaves
  • 10+ garlic cloves (unpeeled)
  • Salt & Pepper
